How do I use it ?
There are multiple ways you can use the oil serum:
Pre-shampoo treatment (Scalp and Hair)
Place the serum bottle in a cup of hot water (from faucet) and leave sitting for at 5-10mins (depending on oil heat preference)
Once oil has reached desired temperature, apply oil directly to the scalp and massage all over scalp. Once applied to scalp, add a few drops to your hands and distribute oil to hair from root to tip
Leave on your hair and scalp for at least 30 minutes or overnight, then proceed with your wash and style routine
Leave In Conditioner
Add 2 or 3 drops of oil ( or more if needed) to your hands and apply to clean wet hair making sure to pay extra attention to dryer areas (i.e. ends of hair) the oil to the areas where more hydration is needed, proceed with styling
Re-hydrate Ends: You can apply 2-3 drops of oil serum to your hands, rub hands together to spread oil and apply to the ends of your hair or any areas that need moisture or softness
Scalp Moisturizer: Apply 3-4 drops (more if needed) to your scalp and massage to spread oil all over the scalp for 2-3 minutes
Eczema Help: Apply a few drops of oil serum to affected areas and rub in until absorbed (3-5 minutes)
How often do you recommend I oil my hair?
Depends on how you use it:
Pre-shampoo (Pre-poo): Every wash or as often as you feel it necessary
Leave in conditioner: After every wash
Rehydrate Ends: As often as needed
Scalp Moisturizer: Every other day or every couple of days depending on the needs of your scalp
Eczema Help: As often as needed
How much do you recommend I use?
You can use as little or as much as you want. Use a few drops to refresh dry ends or add a few drops in different areas of your scalp and massage in.
Is this oil serum targeted to any specific hair type?
No, our oil serum is for all hair types
Can I use this oil serum while my hair is in a protective style?
Absolutely! This hair oil is excellent to use while in a protective style as it will provide your hair with nutrients and moisture to keep your strands and scalp healthy while taking a break from styling. (Side note: has been known to cause braided styles to grow out quicker 😉)
